‘Navas will make Madrid history’

Levante President Quico Catalan has claimed that Keylor Navas will go on to do “great things” at Real Madrid.

The Costa Rican spent two seasons at the Ciutat de Valencia before joining Los Blancos last year, and the patron believes the stage is set for his former No 1 to make history in the capital, now Iker Casillas is out of the equation.

“He’s learned from Iker being the best goalkeeper in the world for a long time,” he told Canal Plus.

“Keylor will be at Real Madrid for a few years and do great things there. I’m convinced about that.

“[On his saves against Levante], what a short memory he has, how ungrateful!

"I’m proud of the team, with the work they did, but obviously saddened by the defeat

“We’re on right path. Levante had a lot to say in the match, despite the defeat.”
