Malaga nearing Mastour resolution

Malaga are reportedly nearing a resolution with FIFA for teenage forward Hachim Mastour to begin his career at La Rosaleda.

The 16-year-old joined the Andalucians on a two-year loan from Milan in the latter stages of the summer transfer window at the personal request of owner Sheikh Abdullah Al Thani but has yet to make an appearance for the club.

Due to Mastour being seen as an underage player, Malaga are obliged to secure special dispensation from FIFA to play him, but AS claims such a document is days – or potentially hours – away from being granted, despite filing their application six weeks ago.

Malaga are then expected to step up the Moroccan’s training regime inside a two-week window in order to bring him up to speed with the rest of Javi Gracia’s squad.

Born in 1998, the Italy-born starlet is considered one of the world’s brightest young talents and became Morocco’s youngest-ever international in June.
