Reports from Italy insist Atletico Madrid Coach Diego Simeone would like to sign Juan Cuadrado, on loan at Juventus from Chelsea, but the price is a problem.
AS cites sources on the peninsula that say Simeone is a long-term fan of Cuadrado, who moved to Stamford Bridge from Fiorentina in a €30m January 2015 deal, only to return to Serie A over the summer.
Atletico are said to be keeping an eye on Cuadrado’s future with a view to the summer, but the cost of taking the Colombia international is likely to be greater than the club can manage.
Cuadrado is though the kind of player Cholo likes, AS notes, and Chelsea hold an interest in a number of Atletico players, the newspaper hinting at a possible deal.
