Chelsea rival Barca for Yarmolenko?

Jose Mourinho was spotted at Spain’s win over Ukraine with Dynamo Kiev forward Andriy Yarmolenko, a target of Barcelona, his scouting mission.

Sport reports the Chelsea manager made little attempt to hide the purpose of his trip, staying in the same Kiev hotel as the Spanish Press and making no effort to claim he was there to see Chelsea’s three Spain players, Cesar Azpilicueta, Cesc Fabregas and Pedro Rodriguez.

It’s felt Mourinho was trying to use the personal touch to tempt Yarmolenko away from Camp Nou and to Stamford Bridge, while Everton and Arsenal have also been mentioned.

Yarmolenko’s club have reportedly put a €20m price tag on the player and has been on Mourinho’s radar since the Portuguese was at Real Madrid, Sport note, citing past scouting missions from Mourinho’s Madrid assistants, Aitor Karanka and Rui Faria.
