Krychowiak ‘nervous’ about Sevilla deal

Grzegorz Krychowiak is reportedly growing concerned about a delay in the offer of a new contract from Sevilla.

Estadio Deportivo says there was a meeting between the midfielder’s representatives and sporting director Monchi more than two weeks ago, but movement since then has been limited.

The delay has led to ‘bad feelings’ among Krychowiak’s agents but the international break could be the time for new developments.

Krychowiak wants to remain with Sevilla despite interest from the Premier League and the proposal is to extend his deal for another year, to 2019, and make him one of the club’s highest-paid players.

The Poland international’s release clause would however remain at the same figure, understood to be €30m.
