Sergio Busquets has hinted that Barcelona are being victimised for last season’s treble triumph following Saturday’s 2-1 defeat to Sevilla.
Luis Enrique suggested in the build-up to the match at Sanchez Pizjuan that there were people who wanted to see La Blaugrana fail in light of their 2014-15 exploits, and the midfielder believes his Coach has a valid point.
“We need more luck with our finishing,” he said after the game.
“If we knew how to fix that, we’d score more goals. The players must apply more of themselves and seek to change this situation.
“[On people wanting Barca to fail], it’s something which doesn’t worry me.
“It’s true that we’ve been winning everything, so maybe some people want the other team to win.”
