‘Juve had three chances and scored two’

Unai Emery was philosophical after seeing Sevilla lose to Juventus in their second Champions League group game.

Los Rojiblancos went down to a 2-0 defeat in Turin but the Coach said after the match that his team have no need to be downhearted.

“It wasn’t to be. Juventus were very solid. We did a good job defensively, but we had few chances and they found a goal,” he remarked, AS reports.

“We looked for variants in attack but they defended well. They had three chances and scored two of them. We were inferior to them and we have to continue working with the prospect of the four games that lie ahead. We need to take advantage of the options we have.

“The competitive level will increase [when injured players return] but we have to build on our experience. We have three points and our options [to go through] are intact.”
