Unai Emery is happy to be back in Turin, site of 2014’s Europa League win, as Sevilla play Juventus in the Champions League.
Los Roijblancos stuttered at the start of the League campaign but took a 3-0 win over Borussia Monchengladbach to start the Champions League, and Emery spoke about the competition at a Press conference.
“We are here in the Champions League. After a unique moment in the Europa League Final here in Turin, we find ourselves back here in Europe’s most prestigious competition,” Emery said.
“We want to enjoy this moment too. It’s an appointment that motivates us and we want to give it the best we’ve got.
“We experience the season moment by moment, one game at a time. The only thought right now is [Wednesday’s] game with the best XI at my disposal.
“Football goes on, we’ve done a lot since the Europa League Final. We will forever remember it, but hopefully this match will also be memorable and we want to grab this opportunity with both hands so it can make the fans and city proud.”
