Cesc Fabregas revealed he has spoken to former Barcelona teammate Lionel Messi to wish him luck as he recovers from a knee injury.
Messi was hurt against Las Palmas and is facing two months on the sidelines, Fabregas confirming the chat to reporters.
“I spoke to Leo. I gave him encouragement,” the midfielder confirmed, Marca reports.
“Hopefully he will recover soon and we’ll see him on the pitch, which is where he has to be.”
