Busquets: Barca didn’t deserve that

Sergio Busquets believes the big winning margin claimed by Celta Vigo was unfair on Barcelona but conceded Os Celestes deserved to win.

Iago Aspas scored twice and Nolito and John Guidetti got a goal each, cancelling out a Neymar effort as Barca were beaten at Balaidos, and Busquets was after the match asked how he felt about the fixture.

“Bad. It’s normal after a result like that,” he replied, AS reports.

“The result was exaggerated, such a difference wasn’t deserved. They were successful in the key moments.

“And we came across this goalkeeper [Sergio Alvarez], who was very successful.

“A lot happened, but they were better. They were more intense and we had bad luck and missed our chances. It’s a very heavy defeat.

“We’d like to know why we were so disconnected. We studied everything. We’re a team and we have to defend together.

“When you lose everything is very negative and you have to make some self-criticism.

“We had two chances before the goal. This is football, we have to be aware of counter-attacks, but there are games that go like that.

“We’ve got to turn the page, learn from it, and prepare for the next game.

“We knew that they would play this way. They have done for a while. We’ve watched games they have played and seen that they play like that.

“Now we have to go back to winning, achieve as much as we can. The League is long. [Barca’s next opponents] Las Palmas are a good team, although they haven’t picked up many points. We’ll go to that match to win.”
