Lucas Alcaraz doesn’t expect Jose Luis Mendilibar’s return to Levante with his Eibar side to be a ‘significant’ factor in the match.
Mendilibar was appointed to the Eibar bench over the summer after Gaizka Garitano stepped down and previously spent a short spell at Ciutat de Valencia.
“I don’t think his return is significant because he’s not a newcomer. Everyone knows how it is,” Alcaraz said when asked, AS reports.
“Eibar have started well. They’re in good form. It’s a long season but a good start is always positive, especially for the frame of mind.
“It’s very important for us to win this home game. We have to focus on what we need to do to win. We have to think beyond the result, but it is very important.”
