Antoine Griezmann scored both goals as Atletico Madrid downed Galatasaray in Turkey in an impressive Champions League showing.
Both Griezmann’s goals came in the first half, the France international first converting Juanfran’s cross with a sweet finish.
He then met Diego Godin’s header to convert from close range with a poacher’s effort, displaying the instincts of a striker after starting in a front three with Jackson Martinez and Luciano Vietto.
Griezmann’s goals came inside 30 minutes to give Atletico a comfortable win in what may have been the most difficult fixture offered by Group C, with Benfica and Astana to come.
