Nuno Santo has admitted that “there’s no justice in football” following Valencia’s dramatic 1-0 victory over Sporting Gijon in La Liga on Saturday.
Paco Alcacer came off the substitutes’ bench to score Los Che’s winner in the first minute of injury time at El Molinon, and the Coach showered praise on the new boys for pushing his side all the way.
“It was a great match between two teams who were going for the win,” he said after the game.
“There’s no justice in football, only goals. I’m privileged to have a squad of such quality
“Sporting will be safe [if they continue playing like they did on Saturday].
“I’m happy with our work since the start of the season. The players are fully engaged and involved, but we must continue this way.”
