Xavi Hernandez believes the quality in the Barcelona side he left this summer is such that a second straight treble isn’t out of the question.
The midfielder quit Camp Nou for Al Sadd and has discussed his old team in an interview with the organising committee for the 2022 World Cup, to be held in Qatar.
“They have the team to re-win the treble and Luis Enrique is a great Coach, a perfectionist, very methodical and a great leader,” Marca reports Xavi saying.
“Barca can now enjoy the best players in the world. But it will be difficult. From the heart I hope they repeat the Champions League and get all the success they want.”
