Suarez: Sevilla in my heart

Denis Suarez has paid tribute to Sevilla after the early end to his loan at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan and his subsequent move to Villarreal.

Suarez was on a two-year loan at Sevilla from Barcelona but he will instead represent the Yellow Submarine this season as the youngster looks for match experience.

“As you probably know Sevilla have accepted my transfer to Villarreal, a club that made a strong and decisive approach and where I go in search of new challenges and opportunities,” Suarez wrote on Twitter, Estadio Deportivo reports.

“All of this would not be possible without Sevilla, a team that already has a place of honour in my heart. I’ve grown as a player and a person at this great club.

“I can only be grateful to the President, Monchi, Unai Emery and my peers. And of course, the fans.

“Those who know the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan know what I mean. Those who don’t, I would recommend you experience it. It will give you goose bumps whoever you support, I guarantee it.

“I’m proud to have put in my two cents to the Europa League. If I’m a better player it’s due to them.

“From my time I take a sack-full of love and honour at having belonged to a team that have made me better as a player and a person. I will never forget it. Thanks from my heart.”
