James Rodriguez ranks his overhead kick against Real Betis in Real Madrid’s 5-0 win as one of the best goals he has ever scored.
The Colombia international claimed a brace, as did Gareth Bale, in Rafa Benitez’s first win as Madrid Coach, Karim Benzema getting the other goal.
“[The overhead kick] is one of my best. It’s in the top three. I’ve never scored one like that,” James said, Marca reports, after the final whistle.
“Goals help you win. That’s what’s important.
“Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo are the primary free-kick takers, but when I get the chance I’ll shoot on goal,” he added, his other goal coming from a set-piece.
