Llorente thanks Sevilla fans

Fernando Llorente has thanked the Sevilla supporters for the welcome he has received after completing a move from Juventus.

Llorente’s return to La Liga sees the Spain striker sign a three-year contract with a €20m release clause after leaving he Serie A champions

The transfer was confirmed on Thursday after Llorente completed a medical following his release from the Old Lady, who agreed to let him go for free in order to save a reported €20m in wages.

Sevilla have confirmed the former Athletic Bilbao striker will wear the No 24 shirt and joins the likes of Yevhen Konoplyanka, Steven Nzonzi and Mariano in moving to Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.

The club have confirmed Llorente will be presented to fans and the Press on Friday and the player used his social media account to speak to followers of his new club.

“Sevillistas I’ve come with enthusiasm and the purpose of working hard for this club,” he Tweeted.

“Thanks for your amazing welcome!”
