Asier Illarramendi has spoken about his return to Real Sociedad after it was confirmed he has left Real Madrid.
The move was announced earlier on Wednesday, Illarra back at Anoeta two years after moving to Santiago Bernabeu.
“I’m very happy everything has been completed as it is what I was looking for and what I wanted,” he said, Marca reports.
“I’m very happy to be back home and from now on I will work very hard with the team.”
Marca put the fee paid by La Real to repatriate Illarra at €17m plus bonuses.
