Luis Suarez claims Barcelona have regained their confidence thanks to Sunday's 1-0 win at Athletic Bilbao in La Liga.
The Uruguayan emerged as La Blaugrana's match-winner at San Mames with a volleyed finish early in the second half, thus inflicting revenge for his side's 5-1 Supercopa defeat last week and ensuring they began the new League campaign on a high.
“We know Athletic are a tough and strong rival, and you must win these types of games if you want to win the League title as they give you confidence,” he told Movistar Plus.
“We planned to wait for the right moment to exploit [Athletic]. The pitch was a little difficult to play on, but the most important thing is that we got the three points.
“[On possible injuries to Dani Alves and Sergio Busquets], they bring a lot to the team, but we have one week until our next game and quality players to replace them if necessary, plus the international break.”
