Barca duo on Pedro exit

Munir El Haddadi and Rafinha, while sad that Pedro Rodriguez has left Barcelona, claim they will do all they can to fill the winger's void.

The duo were peripheral members of the Barca first team last season, as the side went on to lift an historic treble, but they are now keen on establishing themselves in light of the 28-year-old's departure to Chelsea.

“[Although I'm sad about Pedro leaving because] I was very fond of him, [his departure] opens a few more doors.” Munir was quoted as saying by Marca.

“I'll fight and work hard every day in training and show what I can do.

“We will show great desire to earn three points [against Athletic Bilbao on Sunday].

Rafinha, meanwhile, added: “It's a shame that he's gone, but I'll continue working as I have done to make the team.”
