Reports from Britain say Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho will solve his side’s poor start to the season by bidding for Atletico Madrid’s Antoine Griezmann.
The Premier League champions have failed to win any of their first two League games, drawing with Swansea City and losing to Manchester City.
It’s claimed by the Daily Telegraph that Mourinho will make a £21m [€29.8m] opening bid for the France international.
Owner Roman Abramovich is on board with the move but it’s not thought Atletico would accept, particularly as Griezmann has a release clause of around €80m.
