Official: Lopes joins Granada

Granada have completed the signing of right-back Miguel Lopes from Sporting Lisbon on a season-long loan.

The 28-year-old arrives as a direct replacement for Watford-bound Allan Nyom after several days of negotiations.

Lopes, who has four caps for Portugal, returns to Andalucia, having spent the 2010-11 campaign at Real Betis.

He is expected to be presented by Granada on Friday, before training with his new teammates for the first time.

Lopes becomes Granada’s eight summer addition after Edgar Mendez, Robert Ibanez, Salvador Ruiz, Yrondu Musavu-King, Andres Fernandez, Rene Krhin and Nico Lopez.
