Dani Alves is Barcelona’s new No 6 following the departure of Xavi Hernandez, La Blaugrana confirming their squad numbers for 2015-16.
Alves takes Xavi’s number and vacates the No 22 he wore previously, that slot remaining empty. Douglas takes over the No 2 from Martin Montoya, who joined Inter, having worn No 16 last year.
Aleix Vidal and Arda Turan haven’t been given squad numbers as Barca are unable to register the summer signings until January due to the terms of their transfer embargo, but Nos 19 and 22 remain free.
Youngsters Sandro Ramirez and Munir El Haddadi take 16 and 17 respectively.
