Alen Halilovic is to spend next season out on loan after a meeting was held between the player’s agent and the Barcelona higher-ups.
Mundo Deportivo reports the teenager’s representative Zoran Stojadinovic was in Catalonia on Tuesday and met with Roberto, Barca’s technical director, and Raul Sanllehi, the club’s director of football.
The outcome of the meeting was the agreement that Halilovic’s development would be best served by playing at a higher standard than Barca B.
MD cite interest from England in the Croatia starlet but suggest Barca would prefer Halilovic to go to a club where the style more closely mirrors their own, and will guarantee playing time to help his game improve.
