Barca & United in Pedro struggle?

Negotiations between Barcelona and Manchester United for Pedro Rodriguez have reportedly hit a stumbling block over valuation.

According to Mundo Deportivo, both clubs have been in talks since Sunday but an agreement on a fee has so far evaded them.

United had reportedly hoped to drive the price down, given Pedro’s wish to make the move, but Barca will not budge on their €30m valuation – the player’s release clause.

The Catalans have publicly stated on several occasions that their squad for next season is complete, with Pedro still among their ranks.

MD has also played down claims from the English media that a United delegate was due to travel to Catalonia in the week, instead stating that no such meeting has been scheduled.
