Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly targeted Sergio Busquets and Toni Kroos as possible replacements for Thiago Motta.
Motta is likely to join Atletico Madrid before the end of the summer transfer window, and Le Parisien claims they could make an audacious bid for the Barcelona midfielder in the coming month.
PSG are understood to be keen admirers of Busquets’ strength and reliability, but the player appeared to end speculation about his future by extending his contract last season.
If a move for Busquets does not materialise then the Real Madrid man is also on their agenda, although the French giants would prefer someone in the former’s mould.
Spaniards Javi Martinez and Xabi Alonso have also been touted by the newspaper.
