It’s claimed Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has given his superiors a list of players to strengthen the team and Barcelona’s Sergio Busquets is among them.
Sport reports Wenger wants Busquets to take Francis Coquelin’s defensive midfield role and is top of the long-serving boss’ targets.
Barca, however, don’t want to sell and it’s not thought Busquets wants to leave, but the Gunners will put together a financial package to change minds.
Busquets recently signed a new Barca contract, Sport point out, that ties him to the club until 2019.
