Celta Vigo striker Joaquin Larrivey is reportedly closing in on a move to the United Arab Emirates with an unnamed club in Dubai.
The former Cagliari striker was due to join Norwich City last week, only for the deal to collapse at the 11th hour, and reports in Spain claim he is now destined for the Arab nation after leaving Celta’s training camp in Germany over the weekend.
Marca understands Larrivey trained with the Galicians for the final time on Saturday, before signing off his necessary travel documents ahead of flying out to Dubai.
A fee of €2m is believed to have been agreed between Celta and the club in question, with the Argentine now deemed surplus to requirements following the recent arrivals of Iago Aspas and John Guidetti.
