Barcelona have reportedly been told that new signings Aleix Vidal and Arda Turan will not be allowed to play in friendlies until January.
The Catalan giants are currently under a transfer embargo that runs until the start of the next calendar year, meaning that the new arrivals will not make their competitive debuts until that time.
It had though been thought that they would at least be able to feature in Barca’s pre-season friendlies, with Blaugrana boss Luis Enrique saying yesterday that he wanted to give Arda “competitive minutes in friendly matches.”
However, Spanish outlet Cope report that FIFA have already told the Camp Nou club that they cannot use either player in their warm-up matches for the new campaign.
