Joaquin Larrivey’s proposed transfer from Celta Vigo to Norwich City has been called off, according to reports in Spain.
The striker travelled to England last Friday in order to undergo a medical after a fee of €2m was agreed between Celta and Norwich.
However, Marca and AS claim he will return to training with the Galicians on Monday by the orders of Coach Eduardo Berizzo as the Premier League new boys have pulled the plug on the move.
The news comes as a surprise to both the player and Celta, the latter recently signing John Guidetti as a replacement for the 30-year-old.
