La Real close in on Bruma & Reyes

Real Sociedad are reportedly closing in on the signings of Galatasaray forward Bruma and Porto defender Diego Reyes.

According to Marca, the pair recently travelled to San Sebastian for talks with La Real’s hierarchy, resulting in considerable progress being made.

However, while the Portuguese would be able to join as early as this weekend, the Mexican is currently representing his country at the CONCACAF Gold Cup.

Bruma, 21, joined Galatasaray from Sporting Lisbon in the summer of 2013 for €10m but has struggled to live up to expectations in Istanbul, despite playing 33 times for the Turkish champions last season.

Reyes, a year old – on the other hand – has seen his career stall since a high-profile switch to Porto in the same year as the winger, making just eight appearances in 2014-15.

David Moyes has already welcomed back goalkeeper Geronimo Rulli for another season, while Racing Santander wonderkid David Concha has also arrived.
