It is reported that Victor Valdes has rejected the opportunity to hold talks regarding a move to Valencia.
The Spanish shot-stopper joined current club Manchester United last season, where he has so far served as back-up to regular number one David De Gea.
However, with De Gea heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid, the first choice goalkeeping spot at Old Trafford appears set to be up for grabs very soon.
Valdes, who has thus far only made two first team appearances for the Red Devils, is said to want to reward the help given to him by United as he fought his way back from long-term injury by staying and fighting for a first team place.
