Athletic Bilbao have confirmed the signing of Gorka Elustondo from Basque rivals Real Sociedad on a two-year deal.
The 28-year-old defensive midfielder, who can also play as a centre-back, has reportedly signed a deal with a release clause of €30m.
He arrives at San Mames on a free transfer will now join up with his new teammates as Ernesto Valverde’s team begin their pre-season preparations.
