Barca officials arrive for Pogba talks

Barcelona directors Albert Soler and Areido Braida are in Italy for talks with Juventus over the signing of Paul Pogba.

Reports in Spanish media yesterday suggested that a summit would today take place between officials of the two clubs, with Juve CEO Beppe Marotta also thought to be attending.

The meeting is reportedly being held to formally confirm the Catalan giants’ interest in Pogba, with an official offer for the Frenchman set to be put on the table.

Reports in yesterday’s media suggested Barca are the favourites to secure the 22-year-old’s signature and would even be prepared to allow Pogba to remain at Juve for one more season, should that be in all parties’ best interests.
