Lionel Messi is not worried about his Argentina goal drought after his team demolished Paraguay 6-1 to reach the Copa America final.

The Barcelona star has scored just one penalty at this summer’s tournament in Chile but last night played his part in a fine team performances, claiming three assists.

“I don’t worry too much that I’m not scoring goals,” the 27-year-old commented after the match. “We played a complete match. Hopefully my goal will come in the final.

“We got to the final of the World Cup and now we are in the final of the Copa America. Hopefully we can get this title.

“The important thing is to take this team as far as possible. It doesn’t matter who scores the goals.

“Winning the Copa America would be rounding off something special. I really want to win something with the national team.”

Argentina will face hosts Chile in Saturday’s final.
