Allegri reveals Isco admiration

Massimiliano Allegri has revealed his admiration for Real Madrid midfielder Isco as the Juventus Coach ramps up his search for a new playmaker.

Carlos Tevez’s return to Boca Juniors, coupled with Andrea Pirlo’s expected switch to New York City FC, has left the Bianconeri with creative voids to fill, and the Coach admits he is a big fan of the former Valencia and Malaga starlet.

“I’d like a playmaker who never gets bored, a wildcard in a balanced game plan,” he told La Repubblica.

“Egoism and narcissism, in moderate amounts, isn’t harmful to a team’s health.

“I like Isco from Real Madrid and Oscar from Brazil, while among young Italians, there’s much to admire in [Domenico] Berardi and [Federico] Bernardeschi.

“The signing of a No 10 is both a tactical and personal desire of mine for my team.

“Without Carlos Tevez and Andrea Pirlo, Juventus must change and experiment with new ways of working.”
