The agent of Shkodran Mustafi has revealed that Barcelona and Real Madrid are both interested in signing the Valencia defender.
The Germany international joined Los Che from Sampdoria in the wake of his country’s World Cup triumph last summer and quickly forged a centre-back partnership with Nicolas Otamendi to help the team secure a Champions League playoff berth.
However, Ali Bulut has now claimed that the pair of Clasico giants are keen on his client, with defensive reinforcements understood to be high on their respective shortlists.
“Yes, there’s a request from Real Madrid and one from Barcelona for the winter because they can’t sign players until then,” the representative told Bild Zeitung.
