‘Turan wants Premier League move’

Arda Turan wants to leave Atletico Madrid for a Premier League club, according to his agent, Ahmet Bulut.

Paris Saint-Germain have been linked with an approach for the Turkey international but his representative is quoted as saying England is Arda’s preferred destination.

“He intends to leave Spain this summer. His desire is to go and play in the Premier League. That is how he would like to continue his career,” AS quotes Bulut as saying.

“Discussions are underway with three teams. At the moment I can’t name them, but they are the best in England and in Europe.

“It’s true Milan and PSG are two of the six teams interested, but the Italians aren’t an option as they’re not in the Champions League.

PSG is a possibility, but Arda has always had the desire to test himself in England.”

Turan’s contract runs until 2017, AS confirm, and contains a €41m release clause.
