Malaga to keep Amrabat, sign Carlos

Malaga have insisted Nordin Amrabat is staying at La Rosaleda and completed the signing of Braga winger Juan Carlos.

AS cite reports from Turkey that claimed Trabzonspor wanted Amrabat and the forward was in the country to tie up the move.

Malaga however deny that is the case as they plan on exercising their €3.5m option for Amrabat and have informed Galatasaray of their intention.

They haven’t yet made the first payment for the player, though, and AS suggest that is why speculation has arisen.

Sources close to Amrabat told AS that he was in Turkey to resolve outstanding issues with Galatasaray and not to tie up a move elsewhere.

Malaga have meanwhile signed winger Juan Carlos from Braga on loan, pending a medical that is expected to pass without a hitch.

The former Real Madrid youth player can move to Malaga permanently for €6m and has previously been on loan at Granada, Real Betis and Real Zaragoza.
