Alvaro Morata reportedly refused to comment on whether he would still be a Juventus player next season after Saturday’s defeat to Barcelona.
AS claims an Italian journalist posed the question in wake of the Bianconeri’s 3-1 loss in the Champions League final, only for the striker to walk away from the cameras without giving an answer.
Despite Morata joining Juve in a €20m deal on a five-year contract last July, Los Blancos can repurchase him for €30m this summer or €35m at the end of 2015-16.
Meanwhile, Morata felt Juve were unfortunate not to have beaten Barca but accepted the result with grace.
“We had a chance to win and didn’t succeed [in doing so], but I think we deserved to play in this final and competed well, he told Mediaset Italia.
“It hurts to lose a Champions League final for us and our fans, but I think we deserved to win [the match].”
