Barcelona will announce the €10m signing of Aleix Vidal from Sevilla next week, according to Sport.
The Catalans’ search for an alternative to Dani Alves has been well documented this season, and the newspaper claims the Sevilla star, who has been converted into a right-back by Unai Emery, will be their first arrival for 2015-16.
Vidal has reportedly agreed a five-year contract with Barca and is allowed to train with the first team but cannot play any matches until January 2016, as per the terms of the club’s FIFA-imposed transfer embargo.
The 25-year-old was recently called up to the Spain squad for the first time and originally hails from the Catalan region.
