Line-ups: Athletic-Barca

The stage is set at Camp Nou as Athletic Bilbao and Barcelona prepare to do battle in the Copa del Rey final this evening.

The designated hosts were reportedly given two-thirds of the ticket allocation for the match, meaning there may be more Athletic fans in attendance.

Iago Herrerin starts over usual No 1 Gorka Iraizoz in goal, with Mikel Balenziaga and Unai Bustinza at left and right-back respectively. In the middle, Aymeric Laporte and Xabier Etxeita are partnered.

Moving further up the pitch lies the double pivot of Mikel San Jose and Benat Etxeberria, while Inaki Williams and Andoni Iraola flank Mikel Rico, who in turn supports top goalscorer Aritz Aduriz.

Barca are playing as the away team at their stadium for the first time in their history tonight, but they offer no surprises with their line-up, which begins with Marc-Andre ter Stegen between the sticks

At the back, Dani Alves and Jordi Alba occupy the wide berths and Gerard Pique and Javier Mascherano the middle. In midfield, Sergio Busquets lays the foundations for Ivan Rakitic and Andres Iniesta to support the ‘MSN’ of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar.

La Blaugrana, the tournament’s most successful club, are aiming to win a 27th Copa, while Athletic hope to end a 31-year wait for a major trophy.

Both teams have faced each other in the Copa final on nine previous occasions, with Barca winning five and Athletic four and the last coming in 2011-12, which ended in a 3-0 victory for the Catalans.
