Madrid to sacrifice Navas for De Gea?

Real Madrid will reportedly include Keylor Navas in their bid to sign David de Gea from Manchester United this summer.

The Costa Rican has struggled for game time at the Santiago Bernabeu since arriving from Levante on the back of a successful 2014 World Cup, and the Sunday Express claims Los Blancos are ready to use him as collateral in exchange for the 24-year-old.

However, with only a year left on his United contract, it remains to be seen whether De Gea will command a significant fee, therefore limiting the impact of Navas’ involvement in any deal.

The former Atletico Madrid goalkeeper may have already played his last game for the Red Devils after he sustained an injury against Arsenal a week ago and may not be risked at Hull City, with Victor Valdes waiting in the wings.
