Pogba is staying claims Marotta

Juventus director general Giuseppe Marotta has dealt a blow to Barcelona and Real Madrid’s hopes of signing Paul Pogba.

The midfielder has been regularly linked with a summer move to both the Spanish giants, as well as Paris Saint-Germain, but Marotta insisted during an interview with Mediaset that the 22-year-old will still be with the Bianconeri next season.

“Our objective is not to weaken the team but to strengthen it, whilst at the same time respecting the economic balance.

“Pogba is an important element within this group and as far as we’re concerned he is not for sale,” said Marotta, who confirmed that Juve could be interested in Palermo striker Paulo Dybala and PSG frontman Edinson Cavani.

“Dybala and Cavani? They are two very important players and it isn’t only us who know that.

“It could mean we are interested in them,” he admitted.
