Garitano rues ‘childish’ Eibar

Eibar boss Gaizka Garitano described the mistakes his players made in the 3-1 home defeat to Sevilla as ‘childish’.

Carlos Bacca scored twice inside the opening 15 minutes to put the visitors in charge, before Jose Antonio Reyes restored the two-goal lead on 64 minutes after Federico Piovaccari had pulled one back for the hosts.

“We came into this game feeling good but two early goals made it an uphill task from there,” Garitano told a Press conference.

“You can’t concede like that and even when it looked as if we might get back into it we made another childish error and it was all over.

“I thought the second goal was offside but referees have been like that all the time with us and it didn’t surprise me.

“They always give things against my team, although that’s not to say we lost because of the officials because they didn’t really have a bad match.

“But I must praise our fans as they are the best thing about this club. There are times you almost feel embarrassed because you can’t give them something back,” he lamented.
