Granada winger Daniel Candeias admitted it had been a difficult night for his team as they went down 4-0 to Valencia at Mestalla.
Javi Fuego, Dani Parejo, Sofiane Feghouli and Alvaro Negredo were all on target for Los Che as Granada slipped further into the relegation mire and now sit six points adrift of safety in 19th place.
“Playing at Mestalla is always difficult although we stood up to them well in the first 20 minutes,” the Portuguese [pictured, left] told reporters post-match.
“However, after they got the first it made things very tough and now the only thing we can do is think about Thursday’s home game against Espanyol, which is one we must win.
“The next games are going to be very important to us and we’ve got to beat Espanyol, Getafe and Cordoba.”
