Deportivo la Coruna boss Victor Sanchez declared himself satisfied with the point his team earned in the 1-1 draw at Malaga.
Oriol Riera’s header on the hour mark equalised Nordin Amrabat’s opener just after half-time and Victor stressed it had been a positive result for the Galicians in their fight for top-flight safety.
“I’m very pleased with my players and although we wanted all three points I’m happy to have taken one,” he told a post-match Press conference.
“We had some good chances but Fabricio’s save near the end [from a Javi Guerra header] was absolutely sensational.
“Getting something here is positive and we must continue like this if we are to get anything from all our remaining fixtures.
“It’s very important to compete at this level because Malaga is a difficult place to come to and they have players who can cause you problems,” he added.
