Former Barcelona defender Eric Abidal is convinced the club is still capable of winning all three trophies they are still involved in this season.
The Frenchman was back in the city to promote his Foundation, an organisation to help children undergoing treatment for serious illness, and took time out to speak to members of the Press about Luis Enrique’s side.
“Barca showed against Paris Saint-Germain that they are in top form and I think they are favourites to go on and reach the Champions League final,” commented the 35-year-old.
“I really hope they do that and go on to lift the trophy again. Doing the treble is very difficult because you can lose a football match in just one minute, although it’s not impossible.
“Football is like that. A good example is Bayern Munich and the way in which they turned the tie with Porto around.”
