Pep on possible Barca clash

Bayern Munich boss Pep Guardiola has set up a possible mouth-watering clash with former club Barcelona in the Champions League semi-finals.

The Spaniard saw his side thrash Porto 6-1 on Tuesday night, scoring five times in the opening 40 minutes, to record a 7-4 aggregate win over the Portuguese outfit.

However, Guardiola claims he doesn’t care who the Bavarians draw in the next round.

“I don’t care too much who our next opponents will be. We’ll try our best whether it’s Real Madrid, Barca, Atletico, Juventus or Monaco, so it doesn’t matter,” he told reporters post-match.

“We are very happy with our performance, particularly since we’ve struggled to score goals in recent weeks, but we can play even better.

“Even after the game in Porto I felt we could do it. You always make up the difference in your head and try to analyse your opponents.

“Porto are a very good team but today they were not able to reach their level.”
