Barca and Valencia name squads

Barcelona and Valencia have both named their squads for Saturday’s La Liga encounter at Camp Nou.

Dani Alves is back for the Catalans after missing the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final with an ankle injury, but there is no such luck for Martin Montoya, who will join fellow right-back Douglas Pereira in the stands, despite starting at Parc des Princes.

Elsewhere, Andres Iniesta took a blow to his lower back last Wednesday and has not recovered in time to face Los Che.

Nuno Santo, on the other hand, is able to call upon Nicolas Otamendi and Jose Luis Gaya again, the pair having been sidelined through suspension and injury respectively, but neither Enzo Perez nor Pablo Piatti have made the trip to Catalonia.

A win for Barca would see them move five points clear of Real Madrid, providing Los Blancos fail to beat Malaga this evening, while Valencia could potentially leapfrog Atletico Madrid in third place.

Barcelona: Ter Stegen, Bravo; Alves, Pique, Mathieu, Bartra, Adriano, Alba; Busquets, Mascherano, Rakitic, Xavi, Sergi Roberto, Rafinha; Pedro, Suarez, Messi, Neymar

Valencia: Alves, Yoel, Cancelo; Barragan, Mustafi, Otamendi, Vezo, Orban, Gaya; Javi Fuego, Filipe Augusto, Parejo, Andre Gomes, Feghouli; Rodrigo, De Paul, Negredo, Alcacer
